REBELS DEFEATED BY TROJANS

It was a cooler day on the course for MCC golf as they competed in a duel at Worthington. The Rebels brought a full squad for both boys and girls to compete against a challenging Trojan squad. MCC didn’t rise to the top of the leaderboard, but was able to get in some good experience on the course prior to sections.

LAKE AREA TECHNICAL COLLEGE GRADUATES

The 56 th Annual Lake Area Technical College graduation ceremony was held Friday, May 12, 2023, with nine hundred twenty-one graduates. The following students were presented their diplomas by Tiffany Sanderson, President of Lake Area Tech.

May has come and gone. Now June is here. The big thing about June will be the calendar start of Summer - also the ,longest day of the year. This writer remembers one time when I was still in the Army Reserve and had overnight duty the starting day of Summer.

Walking Down the Gravel Road Dry gravel was making its way to the surface of the road upon which I trod. Better than the snow laden mush that had recently disappeared from the six months of snow we’d been buried in was the thought protruding. The sun poked its way from behind the clouds only for a time before the light showers helped melt the few remaining piles of snow.
