BUTTERMAKERS DOWN THE A’S

By Mark Zinnel - Buttermaker Reporter The Hadley Buttermakers were back in action after being rained out by Mother Nature the previous week. Hadley was back on the road when they traveled to Pipestone to battle the A’s on Sunday to take on the A’s. Sam Erickson would start on the mound for Hadley.

By Jenny Kirk Valhalla Island on the west side of Lake Shetek looks to be a hot spot for relaxation, camaraderie, entertainment or a combination of all three this summer and beyond as there have been a lot of upgrades at Key Largo on Lake Shetek and at Lake Shetek Resort in the past year since new owners took over each of the Slayton area venues.

GRUFFALO WALK

What is a Gruffalo? The Gruffalo is a beloved character from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The Gruffalo has terrible tusks, claws, teeth and jaws, knobby knees, turned-out toes, and a poisonous wort at the end of his nose. His eyes are orange, his tongue is black, and he has purple prickles all over his back. And you will see one walk down Main Street of Marshall, MN, on May 25, 2023.
