GOOD NEWS

By John Stenen A brother in Christ went to the same Bible School as I went to and started a Church in South Africa. This was when there was tremendous racial tension and violence between blacks and whites. His Church grew to become one of the largest Churches in the country, and politicians and other government officials as well as many religious leaders from all over the country came to his church to find answers to their main question. “How is it” they asked, “that all these black and white folks can come together and get along, and even love one another as they do?” The pastor simply told them that the blood of Christ unites us all, and as Christians, we are one with Christ and one with each other. I like what I once heard a man say, “Where there is Grace, there is no race.” When Billy Graham preached in Selma, Alabama in the 1960’s, he insisted that blacks and whites sit together and worship together. Some of the religious leaders said to him, “Billy, you set the Church back 100 years.” Billy replied, “Oh, that’s too bad, I had hoped to set it back 2000 years.”

Ask A Trooper

Question: I was wondering, with the ads on television showing people driving with their hands off the steering wheel, is that legal in Minnesota if your vehicle has that capability? Answer: I believe you are asking about autonomous vehicles, or self-driving cars, which are capable of sensing their environment and operating without human involvement. Minnesota law states that every driver is responsible for becoming and remaining aware of the actual and potential hazards that exist on the highway and must use due care in operating a vehicle.
