We are now in December and only a few weeks until Christmas. Its time to take stock of our circumstances. For one thing this writer’s famous rule of thumb fell through this year. The snow that comes for Thanksgiving stays the rest of the winter.

SLAYTON - State Drivers Examiners will be at the Murray County Courthouse for exams on Fridays. Class D road tests are by appointment only and can be scheduled at drive.

The Slayton Community Band is gearing up to give you a jolt of Holiday Spirit on December 4th at 5:00 PM in the MCC High School Auditorium. SNOWMOBILE TRAINING SET
A snowmobile training has been set up for Saturday, December 10th,2022 at the Airport Meeting Room, on south Hwy 75, just outside of Pipestone. Class registration will be held from 8:00-8:30 a.m. with the class running at 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
