Saturday, June 22nd, the American Legion along with the Murray County Pork Producers, Murray County Dairy Association and Minnesota Youth Swine Series (premier) held a fundraiser event for the Slayton American Legion. Burgers and Malts were served along with a little piggy entertainment. Even a little rain didn’t deter folks from coming out, enjoying the day and supporting the legion.

This summer day camp was held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 25 at the Murray County 4-H Building, 3048 Broadway Ave, Slayton, MN. Youth received customized letters that they were able to glue colorful yarn around to use as a décor piece.
