The Murray County Horse Project hosted a 4-H Horse Pleasure Clinic open to the Murray County youth and surrounding counties. The clinic was held all day June 27 and 28 at the Murray County Fairgrounds, 3048 Broadway Ave, Slayton, MN.

The Holy Spirit has to be terribly grieved at the number of ministers today that put such a priority on ‘getting rich’ and enjoying the very best of everything in life. Paul warned us of people like that in writing to Timothy. He said they will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, proud, blasphemers, and they would be lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. Read 2 Tim.3:1-5. Winning the lost to Jesus should be the primary goal of the Christian. In order to do this, we must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:1-2 says we are to be imitators of God, as we follow Him and walk in the love of God.

In an effort to promote healthy aging and enhance community wellness, A.C.E. of SW Minnesota is excited to promote an upcoming Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) class series happening in Slayton.
