MINNESOTA SCHOOLS FACING A TEACHER SHORTAGE, THE SAD REALITY AT MCC

Minnesota schools have been facing a significant teacher/workforce shortage the last few years, but it appears as though the situation has amplified. “It’s a crisis and I’m not understating that by any means,” Murray County Central Superintendent Joe Meyer said at the February school board meeting.

A SHORT PRE STORM MEETING OF THE COMMISSIONERS

By Joanne Bergman The Murray County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 with all five commissioners present. Highway Engineer Randy Groves explained the need to have the Ditch Authority approval for a tile outlet into CD 68. This will service the new highway department building on Highway 30. The tile size and a manhole cover were mandated by MNDot to ceived from the occupant of the mobile home at 2307 Oak Avenue. This is a tax forfeited property owned by J.W. Hein and occupied by Nathan Janssen. Notice to evict the property had been made in November. The City of Slayton has purchased the property. The eviction will be processed with action taken at this meeting.
