SLAYTON KIWANIS TO HOST ANNUAL BENEFIT FOR CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK

Sunday, April 23, St. Ann’s Hall, Soup and dessert luncheon to benefit Children’s Miracle Network. Serving will be 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital across America every year. To provide the best care possible for the kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurances do not cover the full cost. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) has helped to fill in this gap by raising more than $7 billion dollars, most at a dollar a time. Various fundraising partners, such as Kiwanis, work to support in a mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

Every day CMN hospitals treat 16,000 kids with trauma, 935 kids with diabetes, 2,128 kids with cancer, 2,329 kids with surgery and 925 babies in NICU. Did you know 62 kids enter a CMN hospital every minute? Perhaps you know one of these families.

There are 170 Children’s hospitals, 97 corporate partners, 100+ celebrity partners and YOU-millions of individuals that support this worthy cause annual.

Again, Children’s Miracle Network benefit, Sunday, April 23, St. Ann’s Hall serving 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. hosted by the Slayton Kiwanis Club.
