GOOD NEWS

By John Stenen I believe that the greatest prosperity any person can enjoy on this earth is knowing that they are in the will of God; loving Him, following Him, and obeying Him in a spirit of brokenness and humility. The Holy Spirit has to be terribly grieved at the number of ministers today that put such a priority on ‘getting rich’ and enjoying the very best of everything in life. Paul warned us of people like that in writing to Timothy. He said they will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, proud, blasphemers, and they would be lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. Read 2 Tim.3:1-5. Winning the lost to Jesus should be the primary goal of the Christian. In order to do this, we must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:1-2 says we are to be imitators of God, as we follow Him and walk in the love of God.
