On Thursday, November 7th, the Murray County Food Shelf was the delighted recipient of over 425 pounds of canned foods, personal hygiene items and dry goods, as well as $650 in monetary donations. This delivery began when Maike Houser submitted the Murray County Food Shelf as a contender in a drawing for a $300 grant, twelve (12) of which were to be funded in 2024 through the Realtors Helping Communities Fund of the West Central Association of Realtors – the association for licensed real estate agents covering all of southwest Minnesota.
