SWENSON RECEIVED AMERICAN FFA DEGREE

By Crystal Reith Seanna Swenson, a 2023 Murray County Central alum, received the American FFA Degree at the 79th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. The American FFA Degree is the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization.

COURT QUEEN OF PEACE

Court Queen of Peace #1558 met on Oct. 22, 2024 at 5:30 at the home of Jeaneen Nelson on the special occasion of welcoming members of the disbanded court of St. Teresa, Currie. The evening began with wine, cheese and snacks followed by welcome, prayer and business meeting conducted by Regent Deanna Konkol.

We can measure and understand the cause and effects of phenomena.

SLAYTON AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO HOST 3RD ANNUAL ‘LIGHT UP GULLORD PARK’ EVENT

The Slayton Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved holiday tradition, Light Up Gullord Park, now in its third year! We invite businesses, organizations, and individuals to join us in making Gullord Park shine bright this holiday season by decorating a spot in the park. Last year’s lighting ceremony saw a fantastic turnout, with over 80 cars visiting within the first two hours. Let’s make this year even more magical!
