The Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, June 07, 2022. Approval was given for a payment of $6,300 to Engelkes Electric for the electrical work needed to expand Swenson Park. Approval was also given for a gambling permit application to allow Currie Town & Country activity at Pelican Cove. This continues past practice under a new ownership.

The City Council met on Monday, June 6th. In a previous meeting they approved the hiring of Jackie Giesen as the new City Deputy Clerk.

Murray County is once again getting ready for Relay For Life 2022. Brooks Almich and Kris Hanson will be the Honorary Chairs for 2022. Join us in honoring them as well as all cancer survivors at this year’s relay.
