By John Stenen The Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I believe that scripture is for today. I believe that He still heals and delivers. Many of my brothers and sisters in Christ do not believe He does that anymore. That’s alright, I still love them. I have been witness to many wonderful, powerful healings over the years, so I cannot be convinced that Jesus does not heal supernaturally today. I wish to see more in the future, and like many, I wonder why it is that many do not receive their healings.

There are many fishing stories told, many about the big fish that got away. We suspect you all have your own fish stories. Sometimes its what you caught instead of a fish. Sometimes it was something else alive other than fish. In this writer’s memory we got to fish in the creek on our land until Father thought we had enough fish for the night and then it was time to quit.

Court Queen of Peace met April 23 at 5:30 with 13 members present. Following opening prayer and flag pledge Regent Amy Called the meeting to order, and thanked Mary Meaden, Barb Minnehan and their committee for the delicious meal.
