Rebel Roundup

END OF YEAR MESSAGE Parents, guardians and MCC community members: The end of another school year is upon us! With just over a week left at the time of this writing, it is hard to believe we are at graduation time again. Our 48 graduating seniors of the class of 2024 will walk across the stage on Sunday, May 26th at 2:00 p.m.

JOHN MEYERS MODEL T

John Meyer spotted this Model T about 5 years ago at the Engelkes Thrashing Bee. He remembers when he drove one as a kid back and forth to country school during WW2. Last fall he had the opportunity to buy this gem of a vehicle from Lee “Kraut” Lucker. Over the winter months, thanks to many local hands (Jim Gillette, Tom Carlson and Leroy Prahm) he was able to update the vehicle, doing an overhaul with new brakes, starter and canvas windows for the sides.

Ask A Trooper

Question: We have a new driver in the house. I was trying to explain to my child what to do if you have a tire blowout or experience steering failure. It might mean a bit more coming from a State Trooper. Could you please explain? Thank you for all you do.
