GOOD NEWS

By John Stenen Many people today wonder how a God who identifies Himself as ‘Love,’ could have His people go into the Promised Land, that He was giving to them, and have them destroy all the inhabitants in the land. To find out the answer, just read Deuteronomy chapters seven and eight. Also read Genesis 15: and you will find that Israel would be in Egypt for four hundred years and then God would judge Egypt. It also speaks of those wicked people who were living in the ‘Promised Land’ whose iniquity was not yet full. God gave those who were living in the Promised Land hundreds of years to repent, but they just became more and more evil. They were extremely wicked, polluted the land, and they were very immoral. Also they worshiped false gods; very much like many in our nation today, including many who refer to themselves as ‘Christians.’ In Romans 1:18-32 we see the sinful condition of much of mankind today. It says that everyone knows there is a God, for God has put it in our hearts to know there is a God, but because of their love for sin, they reject Him. All the nations who have turned from worshiping the true, Creator God, will be judged, -and of course many have been judged already. Judgment is coming to the United States of America; terrible, severe judgment. However, you can escape it (Read Luke 21:36), our only hope is in Jesus Christ. You must be bornagain to enter the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3). How do I do this? Repent of your sinful lifestyle, no matter how good you think you are, and ask Jesus to come into your heart by faith. Read Luke 24:47. Repentance comes before remission (total forgiveness) of sins. Will you choose Christ and a wonderful destiny, or hell? God bless.
