This coming week will be the Murray County Fair and all its events. We can remember years past wghen the big event of the fair was what we could exhibit for prizes and then the resulting check.

By: Joanne Bergman The Murray County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Luke Schryvers, CEO of the Murray County Medical Center presented his monthly report to the Board. The figures for June were slower, a normal month of June for the facility.

The Slayton City Council held its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday at 6:00 p.m. All council members were present.

Food vouchers will be distributed to all who attend.
