The MCC Rebel Volleyball team played their final game of the regular season on Thursday night in Pipestone. The Rebels were looking to pick up one of their biggest wins in non conference play this season.

ADRIANA VILARDEU NAUDEILLO ENJOYING EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE AT FULDA HIGH SCHOOL

By Norma Dittman Fifteen year old Adriana Vilardeu Naudeillo, Barcelona, Spain, is studying as a sophomore at Fulda High School during the 2025-2026 year. She is the daughter of Meritxeu Naudeillo Cosp and Jordi Vilardeu Molas. Adriana shared that she has three siblings: her sister, Carlota Vilardeu Naudeillo (age 19 years); step-sister, Aitana Guimera Gil (age 16 years); and her half-brother Daniel Vilardeu Gabas (age 3 years).

DUMOS RECEIVES QUILT OF VALOR

On October 6, 2025, US Navy Vietnam Veteran, Keith Dumos, was presented with a Quilt of Valor following the meeting of the American Legion Post 322 Currie, MN. The quilts are given in honor, appreciation and thanks for their service; and to bring comfort, peace and healing to the veteran.

Murray County Central Activities will hold its Winter Sports Eligibility Meeting on Monday, November 3rd, at 6:00 p.m. in the Central auditorium.

Negotiating a fair rental agreement that satisfies the landowner, and the farmer is a challenge, attend our local Zoom watch party in Slayton to learn about trends in the past and current farmland rates, presented by Nathan Hulinsky and University of Minnesota Extension On Tuesday, November 25, there will be a Zoom watch party held in the Murray County 4-H Building (3048 Broadway Ave., Slayton, MN 56172) starting at 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. to discuss current local farmland values and sales, input costs, corn and soybean prices and join other local landlords, farmers, and agri-business professionals in discussion.
