GOOD NEWS By John Stenen A young man driving recklessly fast with a bumper sticker on his car which read, ‘Jesus Saves!’ was pulled over by an officer who said to him: “Your reckless speeding, and endangering the lives of innocent people and yourself is at variance with what is printed on your bumper; and it brings no honor to the One of whom your sticker speaks.” We have just elected a new President and Vice President of the United States. My prayer is that whether you love and respect them or not, that we would all unite as Americans and do as our Lord Jesus Christ admonishes us to do: - ‘Pray for our leaders that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life’.

WWG 69 - MCC 60 MCC is coming off two tough losses against great competition. Facing a strong WWG would prove to be no different as the 9-3 Chargers came into town, looking to spoil the Rebels last game of the week.

More than 3,900 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance over the fall 2024 semester at South Dakota State University by being named to the dean’s list. To earn dean’s list distinctions in SDSU’s colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

MCC 62 - RRC 34 The MCC Rebel Girls were at home on Tuesday night taking on the Red Rock Central Falcons. The Rebels beat the Falcons earlier this season in Lamberton when they took 103 combined shots from the field and free throw line.

RTR 52 - MCC 40 The Murray County Central Rebel Girls played this past Thursday night in Tyler. The Rebels and the Knights played back on December 3rd and the Knights came up with the win by seven points.
