THE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM HAVE HAD A BUSY PAST 7 DAYS

GBB - WWG The MCC Rebel Girls took on the Westbrook Walnut Grove Chargers on Thursday night in a boy-girl doubleheader. The Girls varsity teams played at 6:00 pm and the Rebels were hoping to make it a second big upset of the week.

By Jacob Scandrett, HS Principal With nearly 50-degree temperatures forecasted for this week, spring seems to be right around the corner, and it’s that time of year where we start to begin preparations for next fall. In districts all around Minnesota, schools are preparing students for course registration with class meetings, a review of course requirements and discussions about credits for graduation. Students at MCC will start the registration process this week.

F/MCC WRESTLERS HAVE BUSY WEEK OF COMPETITION

The FMCC Warriors had a very busy week with a Quad in Ortonville, a Tri in Luverne, and a 13 team tournament in Lamberton. In Ortonville, the Warriors took on the Border West Buccaneers, Sisseton, and Ortonville. In Luverne they had the TMB Panthers, and the Luverne Cardinals.

TIGHT GAME AGAINST HBC RESULTS IN LOSS

The Rebels capped off a busy week with their fourth game on Saturday in Hills, facing the 9-3 conference foe for the second time. The first game was a 6964 loss for the Rebels, and this one would be a tight one as well.

BOYS BEAT WWG IN CONFERENCE GAME

In the second of two meetings this year, WWG came to Slayton for the Red Rock Conference match-up. These games between the two teams come with a lot of excitement and with there being a boy/girl doubleheader, the stands were packed.

REBELS CELEBRATE BIG WIN AT HOME AGAINST LAKEVIEW

The Lakeview Lakers came to town Tuesday night for a non-conference tilt, featuring the North Sub-Section foe. MCC kicked the game off with the first bucket when Bryce Hoekman grabbed an offensive rebound and put back.
