By Crystal Reith When Troy Wehking and Tom Klein opened Slayton Building Materials in February 2001, their goal was to simply build a business of their own while serving the area communities. Natives of Fulda, both gained experience in the industry at the Fulda Lumber Yard.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL TEAM CELEBRATES SUCCESSFUL SEASON

By Crystal Reith The MCC boys’ basketball program held its season-ending banquet this week, celebrating the accomplishments of its teams, players, managers and supporters. While many of the highlights came from achievements on the court, coaches emphasized that what made the season truly special was the recognition the players received for how they carried themselves off the court throughout the year.

By John Stenen In Mark chapter 11: we are told of Jesus cursing a fig tree. When did the curse take effect? Its death began immediately! His words went right to the roots of that tree and its death did not appear to the disciples until the next day when they saw that it was dead.
