MURRAY COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Murray County Historical Society is holding a strategic planning meeting on January 16 at 4pm at the 4H building. We have reached the end of the 2020-2024 strategic plan and are set on creating a strategic plan for 2025-2030 that outlines the mission and goals for the Historic Society and Museum for the coming years. The plan will help set the direction that we go in for the next several years. To that end we are inviting our stakeholders and the public to a planning meeting/workshop on Thursday January 16th at 4pm. The intent of this workshop is to craft a set of long-term goals, up to five years ahead, and establish priorities and strategies for each, creating a road map for the Museum and the Society as a whole. Your insight into the needs of your community are important to the outcome. Your input helps greatly. The Society will provide an evening meal for participants. Surveys to help us plan are available at the museum and online on our Facebook page. All surveys are anonymous. We hope to see you there.
