Question: My husband and I are wondering if it is true that emergency vehicles can change a light from red to green, if they need to proceed through an intersection. Is this true, or is it just a myth that people now believe to be true? Also, if this is true, how is the light triggered? On August 4, 2025, US Army Vietnam Veterans, Kenneth “Kenny” Bassett and Dennis “Denny” Johnson, E-5 were each presented with a Quilt of Valor (QOV) following the meeting of the American Legion Post 322 Currie, MN. On August 11th US Army Korean Veteran, Henry “Hinie” Magnus was presented his QOV prior to American Legion Post 318 Fulda, MN. On August 13th US Army Korean Veteran Melvin Johnson was presented his QOV at the Murray County Fairgrounds. On August 14th US Army Korean Veteran V. Mike Kuehl was presented his QOV at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda. The quilts are given in honor, appreciation and thanks for their service; and to bring comfort, peace and healing to the veteran.
