Minnesota FFA Foundation to Hold the Great Minnesota Give-Together Telethon With preparations for the Minnesota State Fair in full swing, the Minnesota FFA Foundation is also gearing up for another exciting tradition — the sixth annual Great Minnesota Give-Together Telethon. This signature event celebrates the powerful impact Agricultural Education and FFA continue to have on more than 40,000 students in classrooms across Minnesota.

By this time you receive this week’s newspaper the Murray County Fair will be either closing or already done. This year the annual parade was moved to Saturday.

Performing Arts judging was also held later that day. The results are:

By Sophia Gaul, 4-H Youth Development Summer Intern, Murray County Murray County 4-H food revue, demonstration, and presentation project members completed their exhibit judging on August 7, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Church. For 4-H Food Review, youth demonstrate their ability to make an entire meal, considering the nutrition value, cost of the meal, and place setting as part of their showcase knowledge. Demonstration project members demonstrate a skill that they have learned - this year we learned how to make sourdough, and the differences between white, red, and black belts in Taekwondo. Presentations were also given and included a speech about the 4-H Citizenship Washington Focus trip to Washington, D.C. The results are:
