GOOD NEWS

By John Stenen Many have asked me over the years, “Where did Cain get his wife?” Scripture tells us that God created Adam and Eve; male and female created He them. They were the only two people on earth. God commanded them to multiply and replenish the earth.

THEOLOGY IN THE TRENCHES

A Writer’s Thoughts I suppose writers sort of write down their thoughts in order to pass them on, and bring clarity as to what’s spinning within. Like the spin cycle on a washer, we sort of get rid of the excess so we can air dry the washed up product to be used all over again—by others.

GREEN THUMB

By Arnold Krusemark It is now May and Spring outside is late. Normally garden, yard, and farm field work are in total progress. This past week this writer went to Mankato. We could find only one or two fields which had the ground worked up ready for planting. There will be some long days (and nights) for at least some area farmers.
