MURRAY COUNTY SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Applications are now being accepted for the Murray County Summer Internship Program. The program is an initiative aimed at connecting college and PSEO students with valuable local career opportunities. Sponsored by Murray County and administered by the Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council (PIC), the program will offer up to $17 per hour for up to 29 hours per week throughout the summer.

BAKKE CHOSEN AS HADLEY LIONS CHILI CHALLENGE PROCEED RECIPIENT

MN DNR CONFIRMS AVIAN INLUENZA IN DECEASED BIRDS IN AREA

After testing specimens, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has confirmed that Avian Influenza has been found in deceased birds in and around bodies of water in Murray County. Conversations with local and state partners show this is affecting the tri-state area.

With Christmas break on the horizon, the TMB Panthers visited Slayton for one last game Saturday morning. TMB came into the game 6-0, while the Rebels had a 3-2 mark. Nobody could have predicted how this instant classic would play out, but it took FOUR overtimes to determine a winner.
