SHORT COURSE TO FEATURE MANAGEMENT OF DAIRY-BEEF CROSSBREDS

WORTHINGTON, Minn. (2/13/2025) - Feedlot producers should plan to attend the 2025 Dairy Beef Short Course event March 25 in Sioux Falls, SD. This year’s program features unique aspects of managing dairy-beef crossbreds such as implants, vaccinations, early calf nutrition and feedlot economics. The annual Dairy Beef Short Course has established itself as the premier educational event for industry professionals, nutritionists and those involved in the care and management of beef x dairy cross cattle. It offers a valuable opportunity to hear the latest cutting-edge research on dairy beef production, tailored specifically for Midwest cattle producers.

EAGLES 69 - MCC 58 Rebel Boy’s dropped a tough home game vs. the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles Tuesday night in a Red Rock Conference clash.

MCC 70 - WWG 63 MCC traveled to Westbrook Friday night to take on the 16-8 Chargers. This would be the last road game of the regular season for the Rebels, as they looked to get a big Red Rock Conference win heading into their home finale against Edgerton Monday night.

MCC 71 - EDGERTON 62 MCC finished their regular season off against Edgerton Monday night. It would be parents and senior night, creating a great atmosphere.

WARRIORS ADVANCE 4 TO STATE

The Fulda/Murray County Central Warriors are sending 4 wrestlers to the Minnesota state tournament this weekend at the XCEL Energy Center in Minneapolis. Congratulations go to Quintin Lewis, Carson Klein, Isaiah Wolske, and Colby Kesteloot.

UWSWMN RADIO-A-THON RAISES FUNDS AND AWARENESS

United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN)recently held its inaugural RADIO- A-THON event, hosted by Marshall Radio, successfully raised $4,235 to support their community initiatives.
