It is especially important to water evergreens. They hold their needles through the winter. They can experience winter burn resulting in brown needles.

SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES The Board of Education of Independent School District #2169, Murray County Central Schools, met for their regular meeting in the high school library July 15, 2024. This is a summary of those proceedings, which are not to be confused with the official minutes of the MCC School Board meetings, which are maintained by the Superintendent’s Office.

Seven area individuals had the opportunity to gain insight and experience this summer thanks to the implementation of the Murray County Internship Program. Justine Wettschreck, who helped coordinate the effort and also serves as the Murray County Economic Development Authority (EDA) Coordinator, said the program itself is run through Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council but funded by the county.
