MCC Girls Golf Marshall Invitational

It was a cold and windy day for the Rebels at the girls 18hole Marshall Invitational. With a few meets and one 18-hole round under their belts, most of the girls felt very confident going into the meet. The competition was extremely tough, but MCC’s golfers played outstanding and the team finished near the top of the leaderboard.

THEOLOGY IN THE TRENCHES

I Just Had to Have It Theology in the Trenches By Kathleen Kjolhaug The round black coffee table had cool ridges uniting the circular portion which contained two hidden drawers. And, I liked it! The large area would be great for playing games with the grands, I thought, and it could double as a place to eat when larger crowds gathered.

GOOD NEWS

By John Stenen “Knowing that you were not redeemed (saved, born-again, made righteous), with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct (sinful lifestyle), received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” 1 Peter 1:18-19. Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone would fall on their knees and open their hearts and ask Jesus to come in and wash them clean of all their sins with His precious blood? No matter how many good works you may do; no matter how many times you may be baptised in water - it will never cleanse you of your sin! Only the blood of Christ can wash away our sin. It is applied to us when we, by faith, repent and receive Jesus into our hearts. John 1:12; John 3:16. However, many will never do that for a number of reasons. John 3: tells us that many will never come to Christ because they love their sin; they like it in the dark and refuse to come to the light because their deeds are evil. Are you tired of carrying the sin, the guilt, and the shame? Then surrender to Christ today, and find out what true freedom is. Experience God’s love, joy and peace. On top of that, you can have the full assurance that your name is in the Lamb’s Book of Life. The alternative is ….. God bless.
