Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic Avera (PCMC) is excited to welcome Melissa Scotting, CNP, back to its medical staff. Scotting provides acute care for patients at PCMC needing sameday appointments.

TRAILS EDGE READY TO OPEN FOR THE SEASON

The Trail’s Edge General Store and Cafe opens for the season on Thursday, April 21st. Located just north of Currie on State Park Road, the long-time favorite spot for camping supplies and great meals will be ready to meet your needs from spring through the harvest season.

REBEL SOFTBALL OPENS SEASON ON THE ROAD TO WABASSO TOURNEY

The MCC Rebels boarded a Ludolph Brothers bus and headed to Wabasso for their first two games of the season this past weekend. The Rebels like all spring sports teams have battled mother nature and have fought a losing battle but on Saturday with some sunshine and some dry fields, the Rebels took to a softball field for the first time this season with mixed results.

BOYS GOLF STARTED SEASON AT MARSHALL INVITATIONAL The MCC Boys Golf team started their season off on a beautiful day at the Marshall Golf Course. After a few meet cancellations, the players were itching to get outside and play a round.

CONGRATS CHANT!!

Chant Mitchell was named 3rd Team All-Area by the Worthington Globe. Chant led the team in points, assists, and blocks. He was second in rebounds and third in steals. Coach Tim Cariveau stated, “He also was the vocal leader of a top 25 defense in Class A in points allowed for 3 seasons and in his 2.5 years of starting, each year the teams improved their overall record, and conference and section standings.”

MCC Knowledge Bowl

MCC Knowledge Bowl concluded their season finishing 14th out of 28 teams at the state meet. Pictured (L to R), Congratulations to Dayton Johnson, Logan Steinle, Rylan Engelkes, Dawson Blankenship and Brailynn Breberg for receiving the State Heritage Award for sportsmanship. They represented Murray County Central honorably and with pride!
