GREEN THUMB

Summer started this past week (Friday). This was the longest day of the year. From now on until the start of Winter in December the days will shorten a bit each day. One radio person of years back always mentioned how much longer or short each day changed. About 5 or 6 minutes daily as we recall.

Wednesday Night Hadley 10 Jackson 6 Whenever Hadley and Jackson meet up, you are usually in for an interesting contest. But Wednesday’s game, even though a Buttermaker win; would technically be considered an UGLY game by both manager’s standards.

THE MURRAY COUNTY SOCCER FIELDS ARE GETTING AN OVERHAUL!

The Murray County United Soccer program had close to 500 Kindergarten through 6 th grade students that participated this year. For over 20 years this program has been thriving! We, the board, along with some dedicated sponsors and volunteers, have decided to give our fields the overhaul that they deserve. Thick plush grass is every soccer players dream, so that is what we are planning to give them.
