The Murray County United Soccer program had close to 500 Kindergarten through 6 th grade students that participated this year. For over 20 years this program has been thriving! We, the board, along with some dedicated sponsors and volunteers, have decided to give our fields the overhaul that they deserve. Thick plush grass is every soccer players dream, so that is what we are planning to give them.
Now that the 2025 season has concluded, work has begun. Keep your eyes peeled and watch for our new fields to flourish. We do ask that while the work is being done and the new grass is growing the public refrain from using them. This will be an ongoing process until snow flies this winter. Thank you so much for your support.
We want to send a big thank you to our landowners: The city of Slayton, Mike and Jan Kluis, Jim and Joan Kluis and Jeff and Brenda Bose, for allowing us to continue to use their property year after year. This revitalization would also not be possible without a solid list of sponsors and volunteers.
