WARRIORS COMPETE IN ADRIAN ON OCTOBER 10TH

By Allie Paulzine, Student Reporter On Tuesday October, 10th the Warriors competed at the Adrian Ellsworth Dragons Invitational in Adrain, Minnesota. Adrian’s golf course is known for its seemingly never ending, rolling hills throughout the course.

October 13 MCC 0 / RTR 22 The MCC Rebels were coming off the worst loss in the team’s recent memory, losing to TMB 69-0. The Rebels were looking to bounce back against the RTR Knights this past Friday night in Tyler.

MURRAY COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY INVITES EVERYONE TO 2023 ANNUAL MEETING

The Murray County Historical Society will be holding their 2023 annual meeting on Saturday, October 21 at the Avoca Community Hall starting at 2pm. There will be a short business meeting followed by a presentation by Minnesota author, Patricia Luebeck. Refreshments will be provided. We hope to see everyone there!

FRIENDS OF LAKE SHETEK STATE PARK TO HOST 17TH ANNUAL FALL PUMPKIN FEST

Join us for a day of fall fun at the 17th Annual Fall Pumpkin Festival at Lake Shetek State Park’s Zuya Group Center on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 1 – 3:30 p.m. Come on out and jump in the biggest leaf pile you’ve ever seen! There will be face painting, hayrides, pumpkin decorating, many activities and prizes to be had, along with s’mores by the campfire and refreshments. Don’t forget to take your fall family picture at the park.
