GOOD NEWS

By John Stenen Space doesn’t permit angel stories, but the Word of God tells us that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7. I have never believed, like some Christians, that we can command angels and tell them what to do. However, I do believe that when we Christians stand on the promises of God and speak the Word of God in faith, God commissions the angels to work on our behalf and bring about deliverance or whatever blessings may be needed at the time. Hebrews 1:14 says, “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who inherit salvation.” One of the greatest problems in the Church today is that most of the angels who are sent to help us are unemployed because it seems as though many Christians do not understand that we have angelic help available. Do you have needs? Find the promises of God in His Word, believe it, speak it into being through prayer, and praise God for the answer. Read Phil. 4:6-8 and learn to cast your care on the Lord because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. God bless.
