ELECTRIFYING MINNESOTA: NOBLES COOPERATIVE ELECTRIC CELEBRATES 90 YEARS

Nobles Cooperative Electric is celebrating 90 Years Together with a traveling exhibit that showcases how electricity shaped life across Minnesota. The Electrifying Minnesota exhibit will be available during the NCE Member Reception at the Murray County Historical Museum, located at 2480 29th Street, Slayton, on Saturday, March 21, 10 a.m.

BWSR ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CLEAN WATER LEGACY PARTNERS PROGRAM

The Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) is now accepting grant applications for the Clean Water Legacy Partners Program, which seeks to protect, enhance and restore water quality throughout the state. Tribal Governments, Intertribal Consortiums and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are eligible to apply for this round of funding.

FIREARMS SAFETY COURSE TO BEGIN IN SLAYTON

Minnesota Firearms Safety classes will be held at the Beaver Creek Archery Club in Slayton (1945 Engebretson Ave) on the following dates: March 17, 19, 24, 26, 31 and April 2, 2026. Class sessions will run from 5:30 – 8:30pm. The field day is scheduled for Saturday, April 11. Attendance at all class sessions and the field day are mandatory for receiving a firearms safety certificate.
