Local organizations across the area are receiving support through Operation Round Up, a program made possible by members of Nobles Cooperative Electric who choose to round up their electric bills each month. These small contributions—often just a few cents—are pooled together and returned to the community through local grants.

In this latest round of funding, $22,800 has been awarded to local support projects, including equipment for first responders, AED replacements for schools, youth program needs, classroom and preschool materials, community space improvements, historical preservation, and supplies for volunteer groups serving those in need. In addition, $9,000 was awarded to nine high school seniors.

“These projects really highlight the heart of our communities,” said Tracey Haberman, Member Services Manager at Nobles Cooperative Electric. “From first responders and schools to volunteer groups and organizations serving families in need, Operation Round Up allows our members to make a meaningful impact in so many different ways. It’s a simple program, but it truly adds up to something powerful.”
