By John Stenen One of the greatest reasons why I believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is the resurrection that occurred on the third day after the crucifixion. Scripture tells us that over five hundred people saw Jesus alive after the resurrection. They were not hallucinating. What made those eleven apostles so bold when they had been hiding in fear for their lives? What made them and perhaps millions of other Christians willing to die for their belief in Christ? It was because of the resurrection. They surrendered their lives to Christ, who said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me.” John 14:6. Also, Christians, motivated by the love of God have done more to alleviate suffering among the masses of people throughout the world. They have given their love, their time, and their treasure to help those in need. They have built hospitals and shelters and the list could go on and on. Jesus said that most people are on the broad path that leads to eternal damnation because they reject the gift of life He offers. I hope you are not one of them. God bless.
