Now is the perfect time to register your business or organization for a booth at the 2024 Family Fair/Farm & Home Show, which will take place on Saturday, March 16 in the MCC Gym!
Sponsored by the Slayton Area Chamber of Commerce and Murray County Early Childhood Initiative, the event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes a visit from the Great Plans ZooMobile, sponsored by Maple Path Financial and the Wheel/Herald. Also included in the day’s events are performances by local preschool students and dancers.
There will be two short presentations for parents/grandparents and guardians. One will focus on the mental health of our children and what to look for. The other will be on online safety, what games kids should or should not be playing, and how to make sure that the children in your life are making wise online decisions. Childcare will be provided during both presentations.
If you would like to register a booth for the event, you can fund the form at www.slaytonareachamber. com/farm-homeshow. Exhibitors get an 8x8 space at a cost of $25 for nonprofits, $50 for profits. There is also a $10 fee if you need a table in your space. Set-up for your booth can be done at 7:30 p.m. Friday or beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday.
