St. Ann’s Catholic Church Faith Formation Students Collected More than 275 Items for the Murray County Food Shelf

St. Ann’s Catholic Church had a Food Shelf Donation Challenge for Lent. The Faith Formation students had a class challenge to see who could collect the most items. Food Shelf volunteers Sally Boelter and Tim Lange came and gave a short presentation to the students about the food shelf and what it provides to the Murray County residents.

This Lenten challenge helped the students learn about the third pillar of Lent, which is almsgiving. We are grateful to all parishioners that donated to this important event. There were over 275+ items and cash donations that were given to the Murray County Food Shelf.
