Will It Be Difficult? Newly married, the young woman entered into the small community, not knowing. Not knowing anyone but the husband to whom she was now married, nary a thought went through her mind that the sky would not be the limit as to what was to come.

By Arnold Krusemark The neighborhood news this week is that the first sweet corn is garden ready. If you don’t have any yet, try stopping at Farmers’ Market. The area supermarkets say they will have some locally grown when they can. These will be the smaller ears now with larger ones coming. Farmers might remember when we talked about a very large corn ear (Silo corn) in September which much have been about four inches in diameter and only one fed our family for at least one meal. Otherwise our gardening now consists of hoeing, weeding, and watching the produce grow.
