The Southwest Minnesota Blaze Baseball is a team of 12 youth baseball players from Southwest Minnesota, formed to represent the region and play together at the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational tournament played in Cooperstown, NY, the home of Cooperstown Dreams Park and the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Cooperstown Dreams Park hosts a summer series of 12-U tournaments that regularly sees more than 500,000 people.

Players and fans participate and watch the purest baseball they’ll perhaps ever witness. Played in 22 lighted, real grass, enclosed baseball stadiums, with players housed in 104 clubhouses in the baseball ‘village’ for a week-long schedule of events that include a guaranteed six games (13 max), souvenir pin exchanges, skills competitions, photo sessions and much more, these talented ball players are sure to make lifelong memories.

Riley Einck, Caden Behrends and McCoy Ackerman were the 3 boys from MCC that played on this team this year. The team played in area tournaments this past summer as well.

They would like to thank all their sponsors and also everyone that bought raffle tickets, coffee and pizzas this year to help support their travel to compete in a tournament with 100 other teams from across the country -- an opportunity of a lifetime for any young baseball player.
