Heading into a big section game on another not so wonderful day for baseball, Friday April 22nd. Temps in the mid 30’s and windy, the Rebels headed to Tracy to take on the TMB Panthers. The game started out with a lot of potential for the Rebels, top of the 1st had runners on 1st and 3rd and the Rebels failed to get the run in. After that everything went the Panthers way.

The Rebels fell behind early 4-0 after the first and TMB never looked back. TMB used 8 Rebels errors to score 11 runs on the day, while only allowing one run. Christian Tentinger took the loss for the Rebels throwing two and 2/3 of an inning, allowing four hits, and nine runs. Carter Benda came in relief, and pitched the remainder of the game.

Offensively the Rebels were led by Tentinger, Peyton Coulter, Jaden Deacon, and Carter Benda each collecting one hit to lead the offense for the Rebels. Rebels baseball team falls to 4-1 and have a huge conference contest Thursday against Adrian.
