REBELS BASEBALL WINS OVER RRC/WWG

Last Tuesday 4-19 the MCC pulled out a tough griddy conference win against RRC/WWG 6-5. Rebel senior Peyton Coulter was in charge of holding a tough team in check. RRC/WWG got on the board first, scoring in the first inning with a groundout that scored one run.

The Rebels offense answered back, scoring two huge runs in the bottom of the first inning. The Rebels pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning.

In the third Christian Tentinger lined out, driving in a run and Jaden Deacon singled on a 1-0 count, scoring another run for the Rebels. Coulter got the win for the Rebels going five and two thirds innings, allowing three runs on two hits and striking out six.

Abe Paulzine threw one and two thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Leading the Rebels on offense was Carter Benda who went 2-for-4 at the plate.
