It was another beautiful day on the course for MCC golf as they competed in a triangular in Jackson. The Rebels brought a full squad for both boys and girls to compete against Jackson and Windom. There was some stiff competition, but a few Rebel golfers were able to rise to the top of the leaderboard.
MCC’s girls team represented well with two players in the top 5. Ciera Tutt carded a 52, landing her in the runner up position. Tutt parred hole 7 and played consistently throughout the meet. On the boys side, Trey Veldhuisen was the low scorer with a 50. Jackson’s course was a challenge for the Rebels, but they were able to make adjustments to their game.
The greens were playing fast, but it gave MCC players the opportunity to improve their putting game.
Each meet the Rebels continue to make improvements both individually and as a team.
These improvements will help them as they head into their 18-hole conference tournament meets.
