On Thursday 4-21, the Rebels traveled to Mountain Lake for another Red Rock Conference battle with the Wolverines. It was one of the nicer days of spring so far for the baseball team, and that helped wake up the bats for the Rebels.

A run here and a run there helped propel the Rebels to a big win over the Wolverines 8-2. Abe Paulzine was the winning pitcher for MCC as the right hander threw six innings, allowing four hits, and one run while striking out eight and walking zero batters. Dylan Kluis finished off the game for the Rebels in his first varsity action on the mound. The young left hander threw the last inning in relief.

The Rebels offense had a huge day offensively collecting ten hits on the day, while many more well hit balls were right at the MLA/C defense. Leading the way for the Rebels was Dawson Blankenship and Connor DeGreeff each had multiple hits for the away team. The Rebels improved to 4-0 on the young season.
