Marge Miranowski was born on March 30, 1932, in Marshfield, Wisconsin to Nick and Eldora Michels Henseler. She grew up in Bakersville, WI until 1936 when the family moved to Worthington, MN where Marge graduated from Worthington High School in 1950.
On October 24, 1953, she and Norman Andersen were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington. Following their marriage, they made their home in Brewster, MN. To this union came five children, Tom, Bob, Jim, Kris, and Mike. Norman passed away on February 12, 1962. On August 20, 1963, she and Donald Miranowski were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brewster. Following their marriage, they made their home on Don’s farm near Heron Lake, MN. Their union expanded the family to include two more children, Karen, and Joe. Don passed away on October 10, 2011.
In 2011, Marge moved to Sunrise Terrace in Slayton, MN and in 2019 she moved to Maplewood Court Assisted Living in Fulda, MN. In 2024 Marge moved to the Maple Lawn Senior Care in Fulda and in October 2025 Marge moved to Our House Hospice Home in Slayton. She passed away there on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the age of 93. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dundee where Marge served as Lector, Minister of Hospitality, Communion Minister and was on the Parish Council. Following the closing of St. Mary’s Church in 1991 they joined St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Fulda. Upon her move to Slayton, Marge joined St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Marge enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, gardening, reading, crafting, puzzles, playing cards and games.
Survivors include her seven children and their spouses, Tom and Jayne Miranowski of Heron Lake, MN, Bob Miranowski of Ramsey, MN, Jim and Kathe Miranowski of Globe, AZ, Kris and Kevin Erpestad of Silt, CO, Mike of Brighton, CO, Karen and Joseph Anderson of Harrisburg, SD, and Joe and Michelle Miranowski of Fulda, MN, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Norman Andersen, and Donald Miranowski, seven siblings, Neil Henseler, Don Henseler, Gene Henseler, Kenneth Henseler, Arnold Henseler, Elaine Roberts, Cyril Henseler.
Funeral Services were at St. Ann’s Church in Slayton, MN on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Peter Schuster officiating. The organist was Jayne Miranowski. The song leader was Valerie Cihak. The pallbearers were Jen Miranowski, Laura Miranowski, Sara Spaccamonti, Jessica Erpestad, Valerie Cihak, Sara Pauley, Destinee Miranowski and Haley Davis. interment is at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Dundee, MN.
Visitation was on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Slayton from 4-6 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery (in care of St. Ann’s Catholic Church Slayton) or Hospice of Murray County.
