Judy Buse, age 79 of Woodstock, MN, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023.
Judy was born in Pomona, CA, January 10, 1944, to parents Arthur and Frances (Zakrahdnik) Van Horn. She grew up in Pomona with her 4 sisters: Irene, Barbie, Nancy, Margie. She had a love for horses at a very early age, owning Mobe, Katsup, and Pat the donkey. She also developed an admiration of cars especially roadsters. She married Dick Kosbab when she was 18 years old, and raised two boys, Glenn and Kevin and resided in Pomona, CA. They enjoyed many family trips traveling across the country. She was employed at an electronics company as an inspector for circuit boards for over 20 years. She married Jim Buse, May 1992 while living in Montclair, California. Together, she and Jim resided in Chino, California until they retired in 2000. They spent the next 4 years traveling the country until they took roots in Woodstock, MN in 2004. She enjoyed many hobbies including crocheting, gardening, quilting, sewing, and making jewelry which allowed her to express her creativity.
Forever missed and loved by son, Kevin (Filipina) Kosbab, Jim Buse and his children; Mike (Kim) Buse, Pat (Cathy) Buse, Jimmy (Patti) Buse, Lisa (Rick) Grathen, Tim Buse, Danny T. (Nicolas) Buse, and 11 grandchildren, Nicole, Kalee, Cody, Andrew, Kelsey, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Sawyer, Sebastian, Danny B., Brekken, and one great grandchild, Berkeley Mae (Kalee Buse). Greeting her in heaven are her parents, Arthur and Frances Van Horn, and son, Glenn Kosbab.
Services were held at Woodstock Community Church, Woodstock, MN on Friday, January 20, 2023, with visitation at 9:30 am and service 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated in Judy’s name to Pipestone County Hospice, Pipestone, MN., and the National Kidney Foundation.
