Jeffrey Hansen was born August 14, 1976, in Pipestone, Minnesota to Thomas and Pamela (Peterson) Hansen. He attended school in Chandler and Edgerton, Minnesota. After deciding high school wasn’t for him, he worked various mechanical jobs. He drove truck for a manure hauling company in Iowa, then worked at Chandler Machine Shop in Chandler, Minnesota while crop farming.

Jeff met Courtney Stewart in 2015 at Prairie Village in Madison, South Dakota. They welcomed their son Tate on May 6th, 2017. Jeff and Courtney got married on their farm near Chandler on July 11, 2020.

Jeff was an active tractor collector, WWE wrestling fan, and devoted friend. He enjoyed long phone conversations with anyone who was willing to listen to him. He was a lifetime member of Granite Thrashing Bee, in Granite, Iowa. He also was a member of the Prairie Village Historical Society and served on the Prairie Village Board of Directors. Jeff loved all kinds of tractors. He especially enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.

Jeff passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Pipestone County Medical Center. Jeff is survived by his wife, Courtney Hansen, his son Tate, and many dear friends and extended family. He proceeded into death alongside his parents, Thomas & Pamela Hansen and his grandparents, Josephine & Harold Hansen and Bernice & Virgil Peterson.
