Bruce Allen Prahm, 74, passed away on April 4, 2022 with family by his side. Bruce was born on June 14, 1947 in Slayton, Minnesota to Edward and Ruby Prahm. He graduated from Slayton High School in 1965 and attended the University of Wyoming for one semester. He enlisted in the Navy in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1970, serving in Vietnam from November 1967 to November 1968. He worked for Dakota Contracting from 1974-1979 while attending the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He worked for Park and Fly in Minneapolis for more than 25 years.
Bruce enjoyed working out at the gym and watching, attending, and talking about sports, especially high school and college teams. He loved Minnesota, his family and friends, playing pinochle and reminiscing about the past. He is survived by two sisters, Connie (Ed) Werhanowicz of Prescott Valley, Arizona and Judi Fowler of Tulsa, Oklahoma, four nephews and 1 niece and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, George Fowler.
A graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Slayton Memorial Garden in Slayton, MN a 11:00 a.m. with military honors accorded by the Slayton American Legion Post. To send condolences visit totzkefuneralhome.com.
