Survivors include his parents, Stan and Jean Larson of Garvin, MN, four siblings, and their spouses, Carol and Brian Wixon of Marshall, MN, Bryan Larson of Thief River Falls, MN, Joshua Hunt of New London, MN, and Brian and Abby Adams of Balaton, MN, seven nieces and nephews, Kailey, Brayden and Brody Wixon, Shea Larson, Skylar Hunt, and Allie and Jackson Adams, one great niece, Blakeleigh Hunt and his paternal grandmother, Joyce Larson of Edgerton, MN, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alvin Larson, and his Maternal grandparents, Vernon and Rosella Miller.
Funeral services were at the Balaton High School (Ralco) Gym in Balaton, MN on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Rick Carlson officiating. The pallbearers are Jarod Larson, Jay Miller, Dave Elijah, Dean Fowser, Scott Kleve, Jeff Chandler, Randy Miller, and Glenn Walters. The honorary pallbearers are Kailey Wixon, Brayden Wixon, Brody Wixon, Shea Larson, Skylar Hunt, Allie Adams, Jackson Adams, Madilyn Kramer, Ruby Kramer, and Millie Kramer. Interment is at Sillerud Lutheran Cemetery in rural Balaton, MN. Visitation was on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the Balaton High School (Ralco) Gym in Balaton from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation was also one hour prior to the services on Monday. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton was entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Balaton Area Community Foundation or Shetek Lutheran Ministries.
