WARRIORS COMPETE AT THE ADRIAN ELLSWORTH DRAGONS INVITATIONAL

On Tuesday October 11th the MCC/F Warriors cross country team competed at the Adrian Ellsworth Dragons Invitational. The Adrian golf course is dreaded by many as it is really quite hilly with not much flat ground. The 85 degree windy weather also added to the difficulty of the race. But the unfavorable weather conditions did not seem to faze the Warriors cross country team as they went out and ran some impressive races. The girls team won the Adrian Ellsworth Dragons Invitational with 36 points beating second place Luverne by 22 points. Once again winning the girls race was Amanda Overgauuw with a time of 18:38. Ashley Overgauuw finished in 19:44 earning her second place spot. In sixth place was Brylei Schreier running a 21:53. Next up in tenth place was Sophia Nelson running an impressive 22:46.
